About Cure Brands | 15% Of Proceeds Fund Cancer Research

OVERARCHING GOAL | The goal of Cure Brands is to build a community and a brand centered around cancer awareness. Every purchase helps us build a socially sustainable business. A portion of the proceeds will help fund cancer research. Half of the money will fund Pancreatic Cancer research, with the remainder funding other various forms of cancer. Life is short and we never know when our time will be. "You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and the manner in which you live". - Stuart Scott ABOUT MY MOM | My Mother was the most thoughtful, loving and caring person. She was a great Mother to my sister and I, and was an exceptional wife to my Dad. I loved my Mom and I know she loved me. My Mom had many friends and was extremely outgoing. She loved to entertain and was an amazing cook. She made incredible lasagna, carrot cake, casserole dishes among other meals. Family was very important to her. She was the youngest of four siblings that she cared about greatly. She was an avid Ohio State fan and a graduate of Ohio University. She truly knew how to light up a room and loved to have fun. She lived a happy life and always remained positive. At 54, she started to experience some pain and after further evaluation, was diagnosed with stage four Pancreatic Cancer. My Mom battled pancreatic cancer for 13 months before she succumbed to the horrible disease. She fought her battle every single day. She never complained and never gave up hope. The point is that we never know what the future holds. Life happens and that's why we want to bring more awareness to not just pancreatic cancer, but other forms of cancer as well. There are roughly 50,000 new cases of Pancreatic Cancer every year in the United States with a 5-year survival rate of 9%. It's one of the most underfunded types of cancer with minimal research. We aim to be the leading donor to gain more insight on pancreatic cancer among other various forms of cancer.
