The handles are removable and can be replaced with paracord—becoming a major threat to any job the wilderness serves up. From her shop in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, wilderness survivalist pioneer Karen Hood designed the Chopper to hack away at brush, small trees, and camp chores with minimal effort. The impressive blade is poised at the perfect 12-degree drop, maximizing chopping pow-er, and its aggressive, corrosion-resistant powder coated finish faces backcountry elements head on. It stores away neatly in a reinforced nylon sheath. Stand aside, machetes and hatchets, as the Chopper steps in to take on backwoods business.
