The Corning 6796-400D PC-400D 230V digital hot plate has a temperature range of ambient to 550 degrees C, a 5 x 7 inch white glass-ceramic top plate, and an LED readout. The white glass-ceramic top plate (Pyroceram) provides fast heating and resistance to chemicals and scratches. It has an LED readout to display temperature settings. Its temperature control knob adjusts temperature in 5-degree increments. For safety, a hot top light indicates when the unit is over 60 degrees C, even when the power is off. It can hold a support rod (sold separately) for holding an external temperature controller (sold separately). This 230V hot plate comes with BS 1363A and CEE7-7 plugs for use in parts of Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia and areas with similar electrical requirements.
