This Corning 96 well special optics black polystyrene microplate has clear flat-bottom round shaped wells with a total well volume of 360µL and a recommended working volume of 75 to 200µL. It has a cell growth area of 0.32sq cm, with a recommended medium well volume of 100 to 200µL and a recommended medium insert volume of 0.32sq cm. The ultra thin, optically clear flat well bottom permits direct microscopic viewing, resulting in lower background fluorescence and enabling readings down to 340nm. It can be used for both top and bottom reading instruments. Opaque walls prevent well-to-well crosstalk. Can be used for both top and bottom reading instruments.
