Continental Elite Powersports Belts feature a unique compound containing Carbon Fiber to create transverse rigidity in the belt, offering an abrasion-resistant sidewall for maximum belt life under adverse conditions. A patented aramid cord minimizes stretch, creating a belt with stable length under load. This gives Continental Elite Powersport belts the dimensional stability to carry horsepower while maintaining less stretch over the life of the belt. The key to designing an “original equipment” replacement belt is to correctly “re-engineer” the belt by precisely duplicating its dimensions. A belt that is dimensionally correct will achieve improved acceleration and speed.
