We provide coffee addicts, who live an adventurous lifestyle, a portable and manual coffee grinder so they can make coffee anywhere! How to use my Grinder? Unlock and remove the cap. Add a few beans to test your grind setting. From there, adjust your Goaty Nomads hand grinder referring to the Grind Chart to ensure the desired grind size. Add about a tablespoon full of your favorite fresh coffee beans. For the best flavor, grind your coffee right before brewing. Hold the grinder vertically and firmly on a table or countertop. This allows the beans to funnel directly down. You may want to place a towel between the grinder and your counter to absorb noise. Turn the handle clockwise to grind. Warning: Do NOT turn it counterclockwise, it can significantly damage your burrs! Once finished grinding, unlock the container and pour the freshly ground coffee into your brew vessel of choice. How to adjust my Grinder? Unlock and remove the container. Turn the adjustment knob all the way clockwise. Then, turn it counterclockwise to adjust the grind. Follow the grinding size suggestions in the Grind Chart provided in the instruction manual to produce your perfect brew. How to clean my Grinder? Take the adjustment knob off. Then, clean the ceramic parts using a soft bristle toothbrush and warm water. Refer to the figure provided in the instruction manual to put the grinder back together. Do NOT put the grinder in the dishwasher. We recommend cleaning your grinder every other week, or when you change the blend. How much coffee can I grind at once? The hopper is built to contain up to 40gr of whole bean coffee at once, which is enough for 2 cups, depending on your brew of choice. How small is your coffee grinder? 8.5 x 2 inches.
