About Barrington Hardwoods Cherry Lumber Square Turning
Cherry lumber has no rivals that are as easy to work, fine textured, strong and regal in color. It's highly rated in all working properties, including wood bending and turning. Cherry's color ages to a richer, rusty red brown with any clear finish and has a reddish-brown color that darkens slightly with age. This wood accepts stain very readily and will take a high-gloss finish. Our 2" x 2" turning blanks are surfaced hit or miss at 1-15/16", and are guaranteed to clean up at 1-3/4".
