About Chemglass CG-4812-10 Metal/PTFE Vacuum
The Chemglass CG-4812-10 vacuum pump is suitable for laboratory or manufacturing applications such as rotary evaporation, vacuum filtration, and gel drying. It has a metal housing for durability and a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) air flow path for corrosion resistance. The pump has a 17 liters per minute (LPM) free air capacity and generates a vacuum level to 50 Torr (67mbar). The oil-free diaphragm pump allows operation without oil misting and contaminated oil disposal. The pump accepts 115V, 60Hz input power with a NEMA 5-15 plug. Chemglass manufactures laboratory glassware and equipment. The company, founded in 1946, is headquartered in Vineland, NJ.
