Special Nomo surface treatment, premium high speed steel, 135 degree split point, and tapered web geometry make the XL5 drill the ultimate workhorse for drilling steel, stainless steel, titanium alloys and other hard to drill materials. XL22 spiral point taps, made of premium high speed steel, have a special surface treatment, and unique 3-flute geometry that provide longer tool life. The necked design allows for deeper trouble free tapping. The spiral point aligns easily and ejects chips ahead of the tap.
