The American racing team Dick Barbour Racing competed in the 12-hour race at Sebring in the Porsche Kremer 935 K3 and was able to secure first and seventh place. The sleek Porsche with the number 9 wore the livery of the sponsor Apple Computers and was able to celebrate success at the Sebring 12 Hours, the Riverside Racey and the Canadian 6-hour race at Mosport in 1980.
