Why is it called The Telephone? Tele means distance or far away. Think tele-vision, tele-scope and tele-port. Phone -as in phonetic means sound. The origin of the words is Greek. With the lower priced kindles you can only view in black & white, but the book is still very readable. On the full color devices, you can see more detail and is therefore possibly a little easier to read.
