About Buddha4all Marble Knife Scales Streaked Scales
These scales are polished on one side, being selected pieces cut from the solid tip of short, fat marble that show appreciable "streaking" or "graining". Such pieces are much favored by razor and knife makers. The stark, clean white graining stands in sharp contrast to the black surrounding marble and is every bit as hard in finished texture. These pieces may be used to stunning effect in a variety of handling projects. Natural variation will dictate that the extent of the streaking will vary from piece to piece, but all of the scales we offer are very highly figured.
