About Buck Knives 550 Selector 2.0 Exchangeable Blade
In 1990, Buck Knives introduced its first exchangeable blade knife with the release of the original selector. Although long since discontinued, the selector became a favorite for many Buck users and many have requested that Buck bring this back to the lineup. The selector 2. 0 was introduced in 2016 with three interchangeable blades. Based on Buck's successful open season hunting line, the Buck Knives 550 Selector 2. 0 comes with three interchangeable blades including a drop point, partially serrated drop point, and gutting blade. Four other blades--skinner, hoof pick, clip point and small game are sold separately. Up to 7 tools in one! Each blade is 420HC steel and heat treated by Buck's exclusive heat treating process.
