Synthetic Mesh Upper Made from a synthetic mesh upper, the Brooks Ariel '16 will provide your feet with a comfortable climate for running. The warm air that builds up within the shoe once you start running will easily be able to escape out of the shoe. Once removed, the shoe will then allow in cooler air from the outside, which will keep the feet feeling fresh and ventilated. This will mean that you will feel a cool and controlled environment. Sweat will be able to escape out of the material before it is wicked away which will again leave you in comfort. Surrounding the forefoot, the material is thicker which will protect the toes from any bumps and knocks that they might receive when out running. The heel is also held in a firm and upright position as there are strong walls surround it. This will keep it in a healthy and strong position. Up the foot, the laces are easily tightened and loosened for a comfortable and secure fit. The tongue and ankle collar is soft and padded, which will secure the foot comfortably and reduce the risk of irritation by rubbing and chafing.
