This 400mL, 120VAC silicone rubber beaker heater fits Griffin and other standard size beakers. The heating element is laminated between two layers of 15mm fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber. The hook and loop closure (like VELCRO) allows for quick installation and removal, also allowing easy view of graduations during set-up and operation. Requires a temperature or power controller. Moisture and chemical resistant, with a maximum exposure temperature of 232°C (450°F) and a power density of 5.0watts/sq in (0.008watts/sq mm). Includes 2ft (61 cm) long power leads with standard 2-prong plug (NEMA 1-15). Material: 2-Layer Fiberglass-Reinforced Silicone Rubber. Thickness: 15mm per layer.
