An OEM replacement microphone accessory kit for rear vision mirror upgrades for vehicles with factory microphones in the mirror, including SYNC for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury, and UConnect systems in Chrysler and Dodge vehicles. This microphone is precision-tuned and guaranteed to produce the same high quality conversation quality through your vehicles factory hands-free communication system. This newer style kit includes a voltage regulator which keeps the microphone safe during voltage fluctuations. If your vehicle has a microphone in the mirror in conjunction with a hands-free phone or emergency communication system (not required in GM vehicles), you'll need to replace it when you upgrade to an OEM grade rear vision mirror or rear vision kit from Brandmotion.
