Boss Part # HYD01712 - Hydraulic Reservoir Drain Plug is found on many RT3 Boss plows. This is located on your Hydraulic Power Unit assembly itself. The plug is located on the reservoir unit on your HPU and on the underside of the reservoir. This is used to help drain your plow fluid when you change and replace dirty hydraulic fluid throughout the season. If you notice the threads on your plug begin to wear, just buy a new one. It will save you a ton in the long run. Not only will it strip out the plug itself but it could ruin your plow reservoir and set you back much more than the cost a new drain plug.
