The Bosnian and Herzegovina flag was adopted in 1998. White, blue, and yellow are not only traditionally associated with Bosnia; they are also associated with peace and neutrality. The three points of the yellow triangle represent the three peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Bosniaks, Croats, and Serbs. The flag features seven 5-pointed white stars, which are supposed to be infinite in number and represent Europe. The blue on the flag was originally associated with the U.N. but was changed to a darker blue. This flag is dyed on silky, lustrous rayon and is hemmed and mounted to a 10 in. black pole that includes a gold-painted spear. Base not included.
