About BMAKER 16 Mica Pigment Powder For Soap Making

WHAT YOU GET: 16 SAMPLER PACKET OF BEAUTIFUL MICA POWDER 0.1 oz. each total of 1.6 ounce Safe for DIY Soaps, Slime, Epoxy, Bath Bombs, Lotions, Shower Gels, Nail Polishes, Eye Shadow. HOW DO I MIX MICA IN SOAP, BATH BOMB OR SCRUB? Micas are wonderful colors to use for Bath Bombs. However, we suggest adding polysorbate 80 at 1-2% in your liquid stage. This will eliminate any ring around the tub or floating mica. Micas can be mixed directly into your soap batter or sugar scrub recipe, but we recommend premixing in oil first to eliminate the possibility of clumping in your recipe. Mix 1 part mica powder to 1- 1½ parts oil. Mix thoroughly with a small spatula, craft stick or mini mixer until all clumps are blended. It helps to push the lumps to the sides of your container to release the pockets of trapped dry powder. Once blended entirely, add the mixed colorant to the oil. If you use melt and pour soap base, mix mica either with 90% isopropyl alcohol or vegetable glycerin before mixing into the soap base. Pre-mixing first helps ensure it is fully clump-free.
