About Blockx Primary Blue Giant Pan Watercolor In Real

Blockx Watercolor: Made in Belgium Since 1865 by the Blockx family, 5 generations of chemists. 72 Brilliant Colors Available in 15ml Tubes, Half Pans and Giant Pans. •Giant Pans • 3.5" wide × 2.25" long x .75" deep ceramic containers hold 10X the amount of paint as our standard half pan. Perfect for big washes and brushes. •Half Pans • Compact pans perfect for small painting kits and travel sets. •15ml Tubes • Standard 15ml watercolor tubes offer a long lasting carrier for your Blockx watercolors. Blockx watercolors maintain a secret magical quality and are composed of the finest ingredients, blended today in the same deliberate manner used by craftsmen of the past. Rare, tough pigments are thoroughly crushed, then coated in gum arabic and honey. Blockx not and never have prepared transient or unstable (non lightfast) shades. Ingredient Selection More than with any other type of paint, watercolor ingredients must be of the finest quality. The purest and lightest gum arabic, chemically pure glycerin, honey made from particular flowers and chemically pure water must be used to achieve the best result. Any filler must be prohibited and an exact dosage of each ingredient must be used. To achieve transparency and working abilities the strongest pigments must be selected. Grinding Also more than in any other techniques, the quality of the grinding is very important. Our pigments are ground slowly to avoid harmful overheating and on stone mills to avoid iron pollution. They are milled several times to achieve the right particle size and to guarantee the working abilities professionals demand. Testimonial: To quote Salvador Dali, writing about Jacques Blockx the founder in ''50 Secrets of Craftsmanship'': ''This man will contribute more to the painters of tomorrow than what we will have accomplished, all the modern painters together''.
