Please keep in mind that Palo Santo sticks are a natural occurring resource and as such, sticks will vary in size, color, resin content and aromatic potency. The longer sticks have been cut, the drier the outside of the stick becomes and the less you will smell the scent of Palo Santo when you hold it up to your nose. Making a small cut in the wood or burning it will bring the scent of the wood and natural resin out again.
