To ensure the best result, please plug the probe into the meat more than 2 inches (5 cm) deep. -Clean the digital thermometer and probe with a damp cloth before and after use. -This meat thermometer is safe to leave in the oven and on the grill during the cooking process. The oven or grill temperature beyond 200 ︒ C /392 ︒F might cause damage to the thermometer. -Please DO NOT touch the thermometer body with your bare hands right after cooking, because it is still hot and it might burn your hands. -Clean the meat thermometer using liquid soap and then rinse it after each time of use to make sure no oil residue on the surface of the probe. -If you used dishwasher to clean the thermometer, water might leak into it. -Our meat thermometer is analog instead of digital, so it might take up to 45 seconds to show the internal temperature of the meat in the oven (it might take longer if you were using it in a pan). -The dial shows temperature in ranges, so it cannot provide a specific number.
