From the Manufacturer What are Black Stories? They are fiddly, morbid and mysterious riddles for teenagers and adults, and they are addictive. Sometimes they are solved very quickly. Other seemingly simple stories turn out not to be so. The players try to reconstruct the crime by asking, guessing and fiddling about. The greatest fun is to crack Black Stories together with friends. One person, the Riddle Master, reads the card out loud and asks "Guess why?" The other players must think of the right questions ask questions with only "Yes" or "No" answers. Here is an example of a Black story: A woman dies because she was on the telephone too long. Was she in a phone booth? Was she depressed? Was she murdered? A spooky card game just right for any party.
