About BioSpec 11079SMS Smartphone Microscope Bead Pack
Use with your 3D printer and smartphone, to create a powerful, portable, digital microscope. For those of you working on a smartphone microscope as described by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, we now have a bead pack available for you. Each pack of beads comes with three 7 ml plastic vials filled with 0.5, 1.0, and 3.5 mm glass beads. In each pack there more than enough beads to create almost 150 microscopes using the 3.5 mm beads and a few thousand microscopes with each of the two smaller sizes. To keep the price reasonable, our beads are a grinding grade and not precision grade of bead. As they are not precision beads, there will be slight clarity and size irregularities. As there are several hundred to several thousand beads of each size in the package, you will have many beads to select from to find the best lens for you.
