Working with Most Tissue use the 1.0mm diameter glass bead. Glass has a density of 2.5 g/cc. Most commonly used bead media for 'beadbeating'. No need to remove them afterward. Bead is sold in one pound bottle. Most bead media is reusable. Wash with lab detergent (not acid) and rinse well.
