The Benchmark Scientific BeadBug D1030 Microtube Homogenizer is a compact benchtop homogenizer with a variable speed range, a timer, and is suitable for cell lysis, grinding or homogenizing tissue samples in microtubes. The homogenizer has an LCD screen with a push-button controlled adjustable speed of 2,700 to 4,000rpm, and a 3-second to 3-minute timer for controlled operation. This unit holds up to three 2.0mL non-skirted screw cap microtubes, and includes a pack of 50 microtubes. The constant high velocity mixing action can be used with micro-beads (sold separately) for cell disruption of more hardened tissue samples.
