Because wet babies are slippery...Beachfront Baby! Beachfront Baby water sling baby carriers are a must have for vacations & the summer! Safety tested performance athletic mesh lends breath-ability with just the right amount of stretch. Sewn in the San Antonio, Texas area, much care & attention to detail has gone into sewing these slings for safety and beauty. Beachfront Baby Slings conform to ASTM F2907-15 meaning they have passed mandatory safety testing. Ask the sellers of less expensive water slings if they meet all mandatory safety standards for baby carriers sold in the US! We use only SlingRing brand aluminum rings in the production of our Beachfront Baby Sling. These rings are made of anodized aluminum which increases their resistance to corrosion & have been tested and approved by the manufacturer for use in chlorinated water. We recommend rinsing the sling & rings with tap water after wearing in salt water or chlorinated water. Each individual ring is pull tested to 250 pounds, is RoHS compliant, lab-verified heavy metal and toxin free & they are smooth & safe for babies to chew on. The rings are sewn into the shoulder of each sling using high quality polyester thread. We sew 3 separate seams with backstitching on the end of each of the 3 seams. This means that in the unlikely event that one seam were to come undone, it would not affect the performance of the other 2 seams and your baby would remain safely in their sling.
