About BAND-IT UL2289 Ultra-Lok 3/4" Wide X
The BAND-IT UL2289 Ultra-Lok preformed clamp is a set of 10 201 stainless steel circular clamps that can be used to attach hoses to pipes or fittings or secure insulation, cables, wires, or other items. The clamps are made of 201 stainless steel, which is stronger than 316 stainless steel but less resistant to corrosion. The steel's quarter hard temper makes it suitable for bending and shaping. A smooth interior helps provide a snug fit to minimize leaks. An integrated lock helps secure the clamp. A hood over the lock helps prevent it from getting snagged. Each clamp measures 3/4" wide, 3/100" thick, and 9" in diameter on the inside. Together, the set weighs 5.1 lb. Pallet strappers, also known as strapping machines and banding machines, are used to bundle loads with straps to secure them for storage or transport. Pallet strappers are typically fitted with a roll of strapping, and they can be semiautomatic for low to medium use or fully automatic for high-volume applications, such as at postal facilities or shipping companies.
