About BAND-IT UL2150 Ultra-Lok 3/4" Wide X 0.030" Thick X

The BAND-IT UL2150 Ultra-Lok band is a roll of eight precut 201 stainless steel straps in a plastic tote that can be used to create circular clamps to attach hoses to pipes or fittings or secure insulation, cables, wires, or other items. The bands are made of 201 stainless steel, which is stronger than 316 stainless steel but less resistant to corrosion. Arrow indicators help facilitate clamp assembly. The 3/100" thickness is thin enough to allow the strapping to be bent snugly around the hose or object. The plastic tote keeps the strapping neatly contained, includes a storage area for buckles (sold separately), and has a handle for carrying. Each strap measures 150" long, 3/4" wide, and 3/100" thick and has a maximum clamping diameter of 41" single-wrapped or 20-1/2" double-wrapped. Together, the roll and tote weigh 8.2 lb. The straps are suitable for use with fastening buckles (sold separately). Pallet strappers, also known as strapping machines and banding machines, are used to bundle loads with straps to secure them for storage or transport. Pallet strappers are typically fitted with a roll of strapping, and they can be semiautomatic for low to medium use or fully automatic for high-volume applications, such as at postal facilities or shipping companies. Some pallet strappers are handheld. The strapping itself can be made of metal, polyester, nylon, and other materials, depending on the items to be secured. Pallet strappers can be used in manufacturing and shipping facilities and in other industrial environments. BAND-IT manufactures band clamping and fastening solutions. The company, founded in 1937, is headquartered in Denver, CO.
