The B&K Precision 625 Compact Digital Thermo Hygrometer is a 3-1/2 digit compact thermo-hygrometer with a temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees F (0 to 60 degrees C) and a humidity measurement range of 0 to 100% relative humidity (RH) designed for one-handed operation to take environment temperature and humidity. Temperature measurements have a resolution of 0.1 degree F/C and accuracy of + or - 1 degree F/C. Humidity measurements have a resolution of 0.1% RH and accuracy of + or - 2.5% RH. At less than 75% RH, the operating temperature is 32 to 131 degrees F (0 to 55 degrees C). This thermo-hygrometer has a sample rate of 2.5 times per second for rapid measurements and has a 9V battery with approximately 200 hours battery life. This meter has a hold function as well as a backlit LCD, which provides readability in low-light conditions. It uses a thermistor as the temperature sensor and an electronic capacitance polymer type sensor as the RH sensor, which is unaffected by water condensate and immune to most reagent vapors. The storage temperature is -68 to +131 degrees F (-20 to +55 degrees C) in 0 to 80% RH with the battery removed. The meter measures 7 x 2.6 x 1.4 inches/156 x 65.5 x 35 mm (H x W x D) and weighs 7.05 oz./200 g. (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)Hygrometers measure the moisture content, or humidity, in the environment, either as relative humidity (percentage of moisture in the air) or as absolute humidity (amount of moisture in the air). Some hygrometers can also measure temperature, dew point, and pressure. Handheld hygrometers are compact devices that use attached probes to take measurements and have a digital screen to report measurements. Other hygrometers utilize transmitters to send measurements from probes placed in ducts or outside environments to an output device; o
