The Audio-Technica AT831CT Cardioid Condenser Lavalier Microphone is a miniature condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern. It has been designed for hands free applications in sound reinforcement systems and for use by professional musicians, especially for pickup of acoustic guitar. The AT831CT provides improved gain before feedback that normally cannot be achieved with miniature omnidirectional microphones. Close up voice and instrument pickup are crisp and clean, yet full sounding, while suppression of background noise is significantly improved over that of stand mounted full size cardioid microphones. Features: Clip-on lavalier mic also excels in acoustic guitar applications Provides crisp, full-sounding voice and instrument pickup Operates on battery or phantom power 6' (1.8 m) cable permanently attached between microphone and power module Specifications: Transducer: Permanently Polarized Condenser Polar Pattern: Cardioid Frequency Response: 40 Hz - 20 kHz Dynamic Range (Typical): 101 dB, (at Maximum SPL) Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 65 dB, (A-Weighted) Maximum Input Sound Level: 126 dB, ( at 1 kHz 1% THD) Power Requirements: Phantom: 9 - 52v DC, Battery: AA (1.5v) Output Impedance: 200 Ohms Output Connectors: TA4-Female Pad: No Low Frequency Roll-Off: -6 dB / Octave at 150 Hz Applications: Vocal, Instrument (Especially Guitar) Dimensions: Microphone: 0.98x0.39" / 25x10mm (L x Diameter), Power Module: 3.27x2.48x0.87" / 83x63x22mm (L x W x D), Cable: 6' / 1.8m (Long) Weight: Microphone: 0.1oz / 2.8g (Less Cable and Accessories), Power Module: 5.2oz / 147g
