Armor shield desiccants are used for the protection of packaged materials that may be exposed to moisture during storage or shipment. Armor shield clay desiccants, most commonly used for industrial applications, are economical and highly effective in reducing the humidity inside a closed container. Clay can adsorb up to 30% of its weight in water vapor, this combined with the tear-resistant strength and durability of the Tyvek packaging, offer maximum moisture and corrosion protection.
