About AMT Pump 5272-98 Rotary Drum Pump, Stainless
The AMT Pump 5271-98 rotary drum pump is a hand-operated pump constructed with 304 stainless steel, carbon vanes, and a Teflon (PTFE) seal for resistance to chemicals and corrosion, and is suitable for transfer of chemicals and liquids including many acids, acetones, trichloroethylene, solvents, photographic chemicals and ketones. This pump is capable of transferring material at 12 oz. per stroke (5 gallons per minute (gpm) at 70 revolutions per minute (rpm)) with temperatures up to 200 degrees F (93 degrees C). It has a 1" female National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT) inlet port and a 3/4" NPT outlet port, and comes with a 40" stainless steel suction tube assembly, a 2" bung adapter, and a stainless steel discharge spout. This pump is suitable for transferring aggressive chemicals such as esters, ketones, alcohols, bases, hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons in a variety of industrial and commercial applications.Pumps use mechanical action to move liquids, gases, or slurries (solids suspended in a liquid or gas).
