About AMT Pump 055-338 2" High Pressure Hose Kit With 20
The AMT Pump 055-338 high pressure hose kit consists of a 20' PVC suction hose with a 2" diameter, a 100' PVC discharge hose with a 2" diameter, a 1-1/2" fire nozzle, a 1-1/2" to 2" adapter, and a hose wrench, and is suitable for use with a compatible high-flow drainage pump for firefighting, industrial wash-down, and general dewatering applications. The PVC (polyvinyl chloride) construction of both hoses provides resistance to alkalis, weak acids, and abrasion, and the rigid PVC helix reinforcement of the suction hose provides the strength necessary for its full vacuum rating. The suction hose has a maximum pressure rating of 65 pounds per square inch (psi) and the discharge hose is rated at 100 psi. These hose assemblies can withstand temperatures ranging from 10 to 150 degrees F, and each one comes equipped with a 2" aluminum male National Pipe Straight Hose (NPSH) coupling and a brass female NPSH coupling. Female NPSH couplings are compatible with male National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT) connections. This hose assembly kit is suitable for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and residential firefighting, wash-down, and dewatering applications in conjunction with a compatible pump.Industrial hoses and hose assemblies transfer or convey air or liquid in hose systems.
