About Amprobe TMD-10 Dual Temperature Meter

The Amprobe TMD-10 dual-input thermometer accepts two K- or J-type thermocouples, and is designed to measure two temperatures simultaneously in a variety HVAC, electrical, industrial, and automotive maintenance applications. The thermocouples support superheat and subcool applications, and cut-out and cut-in temperature measurements. The meter has an offset mode that can be used to compensate for thermocouple error. Dual-scale temperature readings range from -328 to 2,498 degrees F (-200 to 1,370 degrees C). The meter has a back-lit LCD screen with data hold to save readings for later viewing, and displays minimum, maximum, average, and relative temperature calculations. The device operates on one 9V battery (included), which provides approximately 200 hours of use. The auto-power-off feature turns the meter off after approximately 15 minutes, and can be disabled. A low battery indicator helps prevent false readings. The meter includes two K-type thermocouples, a carrying case, one 9V battery, and instructions.Specifications Display resolution 0.1 degree F/C Accuracy + or - 0.05 percent of reading + 1.4 degrees F (0.7 degrees C) K-type thermocouple temperature range -328 to 2,498 degrees F (-200 to 1370 degrees C) Measurement rate 0.5 second Operating temperature 32 to 122 degrees F (0 to 50 degrees C), at less than 80 percent relative humidity Operating environment Indoors at altitudes below 2000 meters Storage temperature -32 to 122 degrees F (0 to 50 degrees C), at less than 80 percent relative humidity Dimensions Approximately 5.1 x 2.2 x 1.5 inches (130 x 56 x 38 mm) (H x W x D) Weight Approximately 0.37 lb.
