About AMERICAN PLANT EXCHANGE Upright Rosemary
Rosemary is one of the most popular and beneficial edible flowering herbs for the home and garden. The beautiful and fragrant silvery leaves are very drought tolerant and can be used fresh or dried to make a wonderful flavoring for meats, stews, vegetables, and bread. They are very low maintenance and like bright full sun and well-draining soils in the container or in your garden. They prefer warm temperatures above 30 degrees so bring your plants indoors with the threat of a freeze. In a pot, be sure to water them only when the soil is almost dry and repot with a sandy well-draining mix once a year. With proper care, they will bloom in the pot in late spring or summer. Shipping and handling can be very tough on live plants so please be sure to open and check your plant right away. Our plant team gives each plant a drink before they are individually shipped and wrapped so they may not need to be watered right away. We are unable to ship this plant to California due to restrictions by the California Department of Agriculture. Please be aware that Rosemary is not considered toxic to pets but can cause issues if consumed in large quantities. There are no other authorized sellers of American Plant Exchange plants.
