Flint glass is also known as soda lime glass. It has a lower melting point, chemical resistance, and expansion rate than does borosilicate glass. This tubing is known as apparatus weight tubing. Measures 8mm outside diameter by 24" length; wall thickness: 1.15 millimeters. Outside diameter tolerance: +/- 0.20mm. Wall thickness tolerance: +/- 0.05mm. Softening Point: 705 degree Centigrade. Annealing Point: 522 degree Centigrade. Solbility: 7.8mL. Lead Oxide: less than 0.01 percent. Arsenic and antimony: less than 0.02 percent. Coefficient of Expansion x 10: 94.1.
