About American Educational Boyle's Law Apparatus With

This device is one of the classical forms of Boyle's Law which are frequently described in experiment manuals. It consists of a funnel tube and a stopcock tube connected together by a piece of flexible tubing which run parallel to one another on aluminum rods. This allows one of the tubes to be raised higher or lower than the other and then locked in place. A meter stick is mounted between the two glass tubes, which allows for the measurement of pressure. This unit stands vertically on top of a cast iron base. Please note, mercury is not included. A heavy- weight oil can be used as a substitute for mercury. Measures 6" length by 4" width by 50" height.
