About the Author Don Pielin lives in the Chicago area, where he organizes the Chicago Old Toy Soldier Show, and has been an avid collector for 30 years. Norman Joplin is the author of five previous books on toy soldiers and figures in England who now resides in Arizona. Verne Johnson lives in Washington state and has collected for nearly 30 years. He co-organizes the Pacific Northwest Toy Soldier and Figure Show each fall. Kent Wood is a professional artist and photographer in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
