I have been working as an Orthoptist for 15 years and during this time I have witnessed the frustrations parents have with their children not wanting to wear their glasses because they don’t fit right, are not comfortable, or are easily broken. Amblyo-Specs are extremely flexible, affordable, and won’t break at the hinge; something I often see with standard kid’s frames. The frame material is made of an ultra-bendable Swiss elastomer which makes it lightweight, soft and comfortable to wear. Amblyo-Specs come in (3) colors- Navy Blue, Pink, and Aqua Blue. I have noted that these are the most popular colors chosen by kids between 5-10 years old. The frames come with an adjustable elastic strap which secures them and keeps them aligned. In my experience, kids are much more likely to wear their glasses when they have fun, colorful options to choose from!
