About AM Solar 40mm Tilting RV Solar Panel Mount Set
Am solar rocker foot mount sets are the culmination of decades of RV solar installation experience. The mounts are designed to attach to the short sides of the solar panels, near the corners to allow for manual tilting. No penetration is needed when installed on fiberglass or metal roofs thanks to the VHB tape. When installing on rubber, tpo or any rough surface, the included mounting screws are recommended. Am solar was founded in 2002 & has performed thousands of RV solar installations without having a single panel detach from a roof. The mount adapters attach to the solar panel with a bolt passing through a 1/4" hole in each corner of the panel's aluminum frame. Solar panels not sold by am solar typically do not come with these holes & they have to be drilled on the bottom side of the frame, centered 1-3/8" from the short edge & 1" from the long edge. Before purchasing panels it would be a good idea to confirm with the panel manufacturer that this will not void the warranty.
