The design of modern motorcycles leaves the exhaust and cylinder head completely exposed to road and trail debris. The cylinder head guard is designed to deflect rocks and other debris kicked up by the front tire. It protects the cylinder head valve cover and dangerously exposed expensive ignition coil and spark plug assembly. The specially designed louvers perfectly compliment the AltRider radiator guard - directing airflow over the cylinder head to keep the motor running cool. All AltRider motorcycle accessories are 100 percent designed and manufactured in the USA. Cylinder head guard protects cylinder head valve cover and expensive ignition coil and spark plug assembly. Louvers match AltRider radiator guard design - directing airflow over the motor. Made of 1/16 inch (1.5 mm) anodized aluminum.
