About Alemite 1634-B Leakproof
Alemite 1634-B is a straight leak-proof fitting with overall length of 1 in., shank length of 33/64 in. And a hex size of 7/16 in. This is a special purpose grease fitting designed for grease, medium and heavy oils, for use in applications where a positive seal is essential. It features a steel ball/Brass seat plus dirt excluding surface ball check. The fitting can withstand maximum back pressure of 10, 000 psi. To Improve reliability of the check valve in the leak-proof fittings, keep input passages free of foreign particles. Redundancy of seal should be provided in critical applications where back pressure must be maintained.
