The Air King BFQ75 ENERGY STAR Qualified SNAP-IN Exhaust Fan features a unique UL listed molded high impact plastic housing that provides multiple benefits. This high performance bath fan is constructed of a molded plastic housing, with no welds to break, and works as a natural sound absorbent. If you live anywhere near salt water, or the unit will be used in high moisture areas, this fan is a must. The high impact housing will not rust, giving the unit a longer life. Easily installs using the SNAP-IN Mounting System. The included bracket nails or screws to the ceiling joist allowing the fan housing to "snap-in". Install the mounting bracket, SNAP the fan and easy fitting grill in place, connect the wiring and the ducting, and you are done. Installing an exhuast fan can now be done in minutes instead of hours. This is so simple you can even replace an existing fan without having to rip out large sections of ceiling or climbing into the attic. The 4-inch plastic duct collar with back draft damper insures quiet operation and prevents drafts from entering the room. UL listed for use over a tub or shower when installed in a GFCI protected branch circuit. This unit features a blower which moves 70 CFM at .25 SP and uses 23.5 watts. Operates at 1.5-sones (a broader measure of sound than decibels) which makes for quiet operation. Makes an excellent ASHRAE 62.2 local exhaust solution with an exhaust capacity for rooms of approximately 70-square feet. The housing measures 9.0625-inches wide by 8.5-inches deep by 4.75-inches high, is HVI certified and can be used to comply with the ventilation standards required by LEED for Homes and California Title 24 requirements.
