Troubleshooting Tips: 1.Q: Meter scans from full to empty then shuts off: A: This occurs if your "C" terminal is not connected to the battery "+" or a key switch. Please connect + to +, - to -, and meter C to battery +. 2.Q: Meter cannot move to full charge: A: This happens when the battery was fully charged but the battery voltage cannot reach to preset fully charged voltage of meter, just disconnect the meter from power and reconnect, meter will reset to full. 3.Q: My current meter uses only +/- connect. will meter work without "C" connect? Can I just jumper the + terminal the "C" (meter would always be on) ? A: The meter will not function properly without the "C" terminal connected. The "C" terminal controls the display on the meter. You can certainly jump the "C" terminal to the Meter "+" terminal for an always on state. Or just run a wire from "C" to the key switch so the meter will only be on when the cart is switch on.
