A sock-like adidas Primeknit upper wraps around your foot and conforms to every footstrike, while an adaptive arch and dual-density heel counter offer targeted support for a stable stride. The Boost midsole powers every step with energy-returning cushioning. Primeknit Upper The upper of the adidas Ultra Boost X is constructed with Primeknit. While sports shoes are usually made from many separate pieces, the Primeknit method digitally knits the entire upper in just one piece. Knitting fused yarn allows adidas to fine-tune the exact amount of flexibility and support needed in every part of the shoe. This means lightweight comfort that wraps seamlessly around your foot, whilst fewer materials produce less waste. Primeknit also offers great breathability, ensuring the feet are kept cool and dry throughout a run. A Dual-Density 3D Heel Counter has been placed on this shoe. This is specifically designed for a woman's foot and will help to provide much-needed stability around the heel area and at the same time allows for optimal movement of the Achilles. A reinforced fabric has been strategically placed around the lacing system which will provide a more secure and supportive fastening. The woven cuff which fits around the lower ankle area provides a sock-like fit and works with the woven upper to block out loose debris and dirt.
