Techfit Mesh Upper The upper of the Solar Boost is constructed using Techfit technology. The application of this technology means the upper swathes the wearer in foot-hugging stability with zoned elastic support in the forefoot, designed from Aramis research. Aramis is a motion-capture system that adidas use to help determine the amount of tension and restriction caused by different materials. The process combines high-speed cameras with flexion sensors to give adidas engineers an idea of how to go about designing a more comfortable upper. Furthermore, Taking analysed data from Aramis, adidas created a Tailored Fibre Placement within the Solar Boost's upper. adidas use the precision of TFP to create an uncompromising fit that delivers performance, fit and comfort. The upper is also super breathable; it uses perforations to increase airflow, creating a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The Fit Counter, a moulded heel counter, helps to secure the rearfoot whilst allowing for freer movement of the Achilles - reducing in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides.
