This successful book, first published in 1980 and now in its fourthedition, provides an authoritative guide for busy practitionerstrying to keep pace with current trends in small animal orthopaedicsurgery. In this new edition Hamish Denny and Steven Butterworthhave retained the same practical approach but have completelyrewritten and updated the book to provide a comprehensive review oforthopaedic and spinal conditions in the dog and cat. Theillustrations have also undergone a major overhaul and the manyline drawings are now combined with photographs and radiographs toclarify diagnostic and surgical techniques. Although the size of the book has increased, its regionalapproach to problems still enables the reader to use it as a rapidreference guide. It will prove an invaluable source of informationfor veterinary practitioners diagnosing and treating orthopaedicand spinal problems, while postgraduate students taking furtherqualifications in orthopaedics will find a sound basis for theirstudies and further reading provided here.
