Then comes the biggest surprise of all.... Product Description 'A Big Kid Bed is Coming' is a sweet adventure created to help kiddos love sleeping (and staying in) their new 'Big Kid Bed.'As parents, we all know that as children grow older, they face many new milestones and transitions. Like adults, kids need to dig deep for their inner courage and bravery to navigate these new tides. Anything new at first is well...new! And new things often are accompanied by some big nerves. That's why we created Louie. The sweetest, most brave elephant around. Gift your child the experience of conquering this new milestone with a buddy by their side and gaining some newfound confidence. Louie will not only show them that a 'Big Kid Bed' can be exciting but also adventurous and fun! The best part? A restful, great night's sleep. A Big Kid Bed is Coming is the first book of its series; we hope you enjoy it. Sweet dreams!"With sweet rhymes and beautiful illustrations, this children's book inspires bravery and greatness." - Lauren Steed, New York Review This book is absolutely adorable. It has fantastic illustrations and a fun rhyming story of adventure. This book is an excellent way to get your toddler used to the transition from his or her crib to a big kid bed before it actually happens. My daughter will be making that transition soon and I'm excited to point out Louie's bravery and what cool things can happened once you try something new --AmazonThis book was INCREDIBLE and worked absolutely perfectly for my 3 year old boy/girl twins. A lot of books show a kid giving excuses for why they don t want to be in a big kid bed which a child can just copy. In this book, the sweet elephant shows the kid all the fun things you can do while IN the bed! Just added the book from this series with Louie eating veggies to my cart. Wish she wrote one for potty training. Silly Louie (as we lovingly call him) is a favorite in our house that they want to read daily. --AmazonWhat a wonderful children's book! Perfect for the transitions that can be so daunting for our littles. The illustrations are absolutely darling and the adventures are sweet and exciting. We can't wait to see what Louie will do next! Louie is so adorable, I just want to squeeze him! Love, love, love. --Amazon About the Author Liz has had a passion for art, creativity, and reading since she was a little girl. After graduating with a BA in Graphic Design and Fine Arts from The University of San Francisco, Liz decided she wanted to stop clocking into her predictable 9-5 pm job. After many business ideas, late nights, and too much coffee - Liz started Brave Kids Press Publishing. She started by publishing her first ten books featuring a brave little elephant named Louie. The series was inspired by her becoming a parent. After having her first child (1 of 3), Liz found it challenging to find books that promoted courage and bravery while transitioning through new childhood milestones (potty training, eating well, welcoming a new sibling, navigating new emotions, etc.). She hoped for her children to find their inner bravery to embrace change because it was fun, not because they were told they had to.  Liz's book series has helped thousands of children worldwide, and she hopes that they will continue to inspire for a lifetime. Through these inspiring, rhythmic books, your child will learn to embrace their inner bravery and that they can overcome any challenge. Embracing our courage is especially important to Liz as she believes self-confidence at a young age paves the future for abundant opportunities, grit, and a growth mindset.
