Callistemon cirinus or often called as ''Little John'' is an evergreen shrub that originated from Australia. This shrub is a slow growing shrub reaching its height of about 3ft and spreading up to 5ft wide. This evergreen shrub develops elegant pompom like blossoms that is red in color and visible during spring until summer time, but it can blossom off year round that made it more attractive. This shrub also encourages hummingbirds and butterflies due to its flowers that are good source of nectar. Hard to find type of plant but easy to care and grow.
